According to the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology the Ujian Nasional (National Exam) will no longer take place. It has been replaced with the Assessment Nasional Berbasis Komputer (Computer-Based National Assessment). The new National Assessment will be administered randomly to students in grades 5, 8, and 11.
