Mie University to Ease Access to Ninja Studies Program (Japan)

Mie University, a public institution in Japan, will no longer require the Japanese History as the exam subject for entry to ninja studies and ninja art program at its Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences. The new admission process allows applicants to select ninja studies as the entrance exam subject. This opens up opportunities for international ninja researchers who would otherwise need to be familiar with interpretation of old styles of Japanese handwriting known as kuzushiji, which is part of the history exam requirement.

In July, the university also opened an international ninja research center in Iga, the birthplace of ninja.
