Escola Nacional Florestan Fernandes in Brazil Unrecognized

Escola Nacional Florestan Fernandes, a private institution established in Guararema, Sao Paulo in January 2005 by the Movimento dos Trabalhadores Rurais Sem Terra (Movement of Rural Landless Workers), is not an officially recognized degree-granting institution. It is an education and training center which offers formal and informal courses on agricultural planning, community health, management of cooperatives, small scale agricultural techniques, and literacy training. Teachers from local technical schools and universities donate their time.
