Per Presidential Decree 26/10/2010, Alexandria University's Damanhour branch became the Damanhour University. This decree included 12 faculties: Arts, Commerce, Agriculture, Education, Nursing, Sciences Veterinary Medicine, Pharmacy, Kindergarten, Medicine, and Engineering.
