Hong Kong Polytechnic University partially reopened

Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) allowed some staff and students to return to part of the campus on 11 December. The PolyU campus was severely damaged during almost two weeks of clashes between protesters and police in November. Other parts of the campus will be reopened as they are assessed to be safe. PolyU plans to begin its second term as scheduled on 13 January 2020, though they will begin by making up the exams that were not able to be held in the first term.
