BTS exams decentralized in Cote d'Ivoire

Ministère de l’Enseignement Supérieure et la Recherche Scientifique (Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research) announced the decentralization of BTS exam centres. Centers are to become autonomous, from the written papers to the jury's deliberations. The ministry will still develop the questions and deliver them to the centers.

Brevet de Technicien Supérieur (Higher Technician Certificate), in short BTS, is normally a two-year technical post-secondary program. Successful completion of a BTS program and the award of the diploma lead to employment as well as access to further higher education.

In Cote d'Ivoire, a BTS diploma is awarded by the State (Ministère de l’Enseignement Supérieure et la Recherche Scientifique) while the student report cards (bulletins/relevés des notes) are issued by the teaching institution.
