Charisma University (CU) is an institution established in 2011 in the Philippines, now registered in Turks and Caicos (TCI).
CU holds a provisional license, granted by the TCI Ministry of Education, to operate in Turks and Caicos. The license is provisional as the CU is subject to several conditions that must be met to uphold the license.
CU is a candidate for accreditation with the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP). ACBSP has been recognized by the US Department of Education since 2011. ACBSP is not a regional accrediting body responsible for degree-granting authorization in the United States.
CU is accredited by the Accreditation Service for International Schools, Colleges, and Universities (ASIC), a private organization in the United Kingdom. ASIC is not responsible for awarding degree-granting powers to any educational institutions in the United Kingdom. The right to use the title university and degree-awarding powers is granted by the Government, through the Privy Council, upon advice of the QAA, the Quality Assurance Agency.
