"The timeline is intended as a point of reference for comparative work. The original collection of events is based on an analysis of chapters of the book “25 Years of Transformations of Higher Education Systems in Post-Soviet Countries”. The book itself is the result of an international interdisciplinary project is conducted by the Institute of Education of the National Research University Higher School of Economics (Moscow) in partnership with the World Bank. The project involved higher education researchers from all over the Post-Soviet space working on the analysis of higher education system changes in Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Estonia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan."
